Suwannee Grapefruit Moscow Mule

Ingredients

  • 1 grapefruit Florida grapefruit zest
  • 250 ml Water, hot
  • 225 g Sugar, superfine
  • 30 ml Florida grapefruit juice
  • 15 ml Florida Grapefruit Syrup (see step 1)
  • 15 ml Lime juice
  • 45 ml Rum
  • 125 ml Ginger beer
  • Lime wheel
  • Ginger candy

Preparation

Suwannee Grapefruit Moscow Mule


Combine all ingredients, except ginger beer, over fresh ice in Collins glass.Top with chilled ginger beer and stir.

For Florida Grapefruit Syrup:Add Florida grapefruit zest and hot water to superfine sugar.Let sit overnight.Strain and store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.


Garnish with lime wheel and ginger candy.
